    NOTICE OF ELECTION/NOMINATIONS

    BUSINESS AGENT – EDUCATION DIVISION

    BUFFALO UNIVERSITY


    There is a vacancy for the position of Business Agent for Buffalo University.

    As per Article 11 of the CWA Local 1104 Bylaws, there will be an election to fill this vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term. As per Article 11, George Bloom, President, with the concurrence of Kathleen Sims, Executive Vice President, has appointed Mia Jorgensen to fill this vacancy for a period of sixty (60) days until an election can be held.

    An election for this position will be conducted by nominating petitions only. To run for this position, a member must submit a nominating petition with a minimum of seventy-five (75) names and signatures of members in good standing who are represented by this Business Agent. You must be a member of CWA Local 1104 for a minimum of one year to be eligible.

    Nominating petitions and Election Rules will be available through the Local Office at One Florgate Road , Farmingdale , NY starting on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 8 AM . Only nominating petitions secured through the Local Office at One Florgate Road in Farmingdale will be accepted. Petitions may be secured in person at the Local Office at One Florgate Road in Farmingdale; by request via U.S. Mail, certified mail, return receipt requested; or by telephone request to (516) 420-1104. Completed petitions must be returned to the Local Office at One Florgate Road, Farmingdale , NY 11735 no later than 5 PM on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 .
